A blessing ceremony was held
Looking towards the future, we feel that this is the beginning of a new relationship between the next generation of Japanese people and dolphins and whales.

On April 23rd, the spirits of the 563 people who were lost in the drive hunt in Taiji Town were returned to light and sent back to the universe.
We held a ceremony where we floated a leaf boat/little boat made by supporters in the bay where fishing took place, playing music.
With the support of so many people from around the world,
the Project Anima crowdfunding reached its goal,
and we were able to complete the ceremony in a truly beautiful way.
Emma and everyone at YURAI,
who agreed to help us share our message through music —
Umi-chan, who danced with deep joy —
Jean, who sang with a voice arising from the depths of spirit —
Matt, who filmed and edited the transparent, light-filled images —
And all of you who wove and sent small boats,
each one filled with heartfelt intention from across Japan —
As well as the many others who held us in their thoughts
and offered their support.
Because each of us took action in the ways we could,
I felt a great support of love coming from the universe.
For Project Anima, this is only the true beginning.

The vision for this ceremony and the crowdfunding campaign came to mind, and we started taking action on February 1st.
In reality, preparations are made months in advance,
but the synchronicity was so great that

On April 3rd, I would like to hold a blessing ceremony
for the humpback whales that come to Amami Oshima every year
to raise their young through music.
In some parts of Japan,
whale festivals are held every year to celebrate the tradition of whaling.
We hope to hold a festival for
Japan's dolphins and whales with a fresh mind.
I felt the reality that the next generation of
Japanese people will build a new relationship
with dolphins and whales in the future.
I would like to have a celebration.
Deeply connected to the consciousness of whales

And with dancer Usui Sunagawa
Interact with the whales through music and dance.
The ceremony will take place on the beach and on the boat.
We will perform in unison with the whales.
Perhaps you will encounter a singing whale and be able to play music while resonating with the whale's song live.
I feel like a magical exchange beyond imagination is happening.
